Her orchestral endeavors have sent her all over the globe, including titled positions in orchestras in Malaysia, Switzerland, and U.K. Prior to moving to Dallas, TX, she performed with symphony orchestras in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal and was appointed orchestra positions in the National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan and Singapore Symphony Orchestra. She currently holds a tenured position with the Austin Symphony Orchestra and is regularly performing with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Teaching
PIANO, VIOLIN AND VIOLA LESSONS

Ms. Tang is a warm, student-centered teacher of both strings and piano over two decades of experience. She welcomes beginners through advanced students and balances solid fundamentals with creativity, so lessons feel supportive, musical and fun. Her studio focuses on beautiful tone, healthy technique, confident reading, and the joy of making music that tells a story.

Collaboration is at the heart of her teaching. Whether coaching duets, small chamber groups, or preparing accompaniments, Ms. Tang helps students listen deeply, to themselves and to others, while building leadership, teamwork, and musical sensitivity. Theory and ear-training are woven in naturally, and she's happy to help with auditions, festivals, recitals, and school orchestra needs.

A graduate of the Yale School of Music, McGill Unversity, and the Royal Conservatory of Music, and former Program Director at the Showcase Music Academy, Ms. Tang teaches online and from her Dallas studio. Reach out to schedule a quick chat or in-person meeting.
