Ms. Tang has extensive experience in teaching both piano and strings for over two decades.  She understands what it takes to achieve musical excellence while enjoying the process of learning music.  Ms. Tang's teaching approach stimulates creativity, inspires self-discipline, and encourages her students to express themselves through music.

Being both a piano and strings teacher, Ms. Tang shares her love for collaboration with her students.  She believes in the importance of listening to both self and others, understanding the qualities of sensitivity and subtleties, and developing leadership and teamwork skills through chamber music. 

 

In addition to her orchestral career, she was the program director of the Showcase Music Academy in Vancouver, BC before relocating to Dallas, TX.  A graduate of the Yale School of Music, the McGill University and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Ms. Tang devotes her time to educate, enrich, and inspire students of all ages.​

Ms. Tang is accepting students online and also from her home in Hollywood/Santa Monica neighborhood in East Dallas.
